Nancy was crying too hard to answer. Ace did the only thing he could think of to do, to bring her inside and drew her into his arms. Ace rubbed her back, the same way his mom did with him when he was upset. Being this close to Nancy felt very right and very natural and very good, he realized. But he pushed his feelings away, knowing that taking care of Nancy was most important. “Nancy, what happened?” With her face still buried in his chest, she shook her head, still not ready to talk. Ace led her to the couch and settled down next to her as he waited for her to be ready to talk.

Finally, Nancy lifted her head. “My dad just told me what really happened to my mom.” She said.

"No Nancy...you make me live." Nancy shook her head at his words. "Hey, look at me." Nancy reluctantly met his eyes. "I found a purpose because of you." He reached out and gently grasped her hand. He put it over his heart. "I've never felt more alive than when I'm chasing down leads with you," Ace declared passionately. "You're my inspiration Nancy."

“Ace, please. I want to go home.”

He felt his heart break a little at Nancy’s whine. She was exhausted, in pain, still disoriented from the poison, and in place that brought up only bad memories for her. All that combined to make Nancy feel pretty miserable.

“Alright, can you move over some?” Ace asked, kicking off his shoes.

Nancy gave him a look as she shifted over in the bed. He pulled down the railing for her bed and climbed in, being careful not to dislodge any of the wires Nancy was attached to. Ace wrapped his arms around Nancy, pulling her close. He was pleased to feel that some of the tension was released from her body.

“And we’re breaking in because?”

Nancy looked at him pointedly and as usual Ace followed her lead. They walked up some creaky staircase and as they made their way up, they realized they weren’t alone. She pushed him into a corner. Her breath was on his neck and he tried to ignore the feelings that ignited in him. But, before he realized what was happening she had reached for his hands. “I’ve got you.”

“I know,” she said as she turned to look at him with those big eyes of hers.

“Oh, so this is a date,” Ace said teasingly, but there was also a touch of seriousness in his voice. She knew what he was thinking; that he wanted to be sure she was ready for something like this.

“You bet your ass this is,” Nancy said.

I really liked the lanyard moment and when he pulled her up and she kind of fell on him.

TFTNT. If I don't fall asleep, I'm going to watch at least one episode tonight, but if not, I'm definitely going to be able to watch all three episodes tomorrow. About episode four. I think it's Ace's dream because why would Nancy dream she's getting it on with Ace in her bedroom and setting herself on fire in her living room? In the bedroom scene something bad starts to happen, but it doesn't match setting yourself on fire in another part of the house? I remember when "Smallville" did ANOES episode. lol But "The Simpsons" is the GOAT of ANOES episodes.

Depending on how this episode goes. I may purchase it.

I have no idea how any of it is going to work.

Nancy apparently has like 3 wardrobe changes in the episode...so we'll see how it all plays out.

Oh god, so many good crumbs. I liked the actual hot af scene. But, I think it was how flustered he was when she landed on top of her that he did the hair tuck of attraction. But, the lanyard scene is also

When Bess is complaining to Ace about how he didn't want her on this trip...Ace has this look on his face...then Bess goes "I KNEW IT!" but then gets distracted when she says he's feeling mothered by her.

Was Bess going to say Ace wanted to be alone with Nancy? Remember George just randomly joined them...it was only supposed to be Nancy/Ace.

Honestly maybe watch 3x03 first lol…although I did like 3x01 too. 3x02 is the only real dud so far.

I mean maybe Bess wasn't implying anything like that...but I think the general idea was that Ace didn't want Bess going with them. Still think Bess will be Team Nace when finds out.

The look through the windshield is probably my favorite little moment. And the fact that George saw it?!!?! Yeah...

I also saw someone on tumblr say something about how Nancy and Ace are emotionally cheating and I'm like

Ummm no. Plus, I really kinda wonder if him and Amanda are actually broken up and he's just not saying anything...or they had a huge fight...and it's like relationship limbo. Cause the end is coming for them. She's barely mentioned. Mr. Bobbsey is mentioned more than her.
