I have seen a few promos . Wonder when she ,Ruby is in like a short sleeve shirt or tank top Her tattoos will be covered in makeup .
Years back , the Rock was doing a movie , they covered all the tattoos on his arm and chest with make up . Cheaper then removing them post production .
I have seen Ruby first In orange is the new black( I saw all of her

) , John wick 2, Pitch perfect 3 .XXX return of Xander cage and The Meg !
John wick role , she’s a hired assassin who is deaf and can’t speak .. yet Pulls off some crazy fight scenes.

Do we know that they will cover her tattoos?

I don't really understand the reasoning behind that unless someone is playing a character who shouldn't have tattoos (which I don't know why Kate wouldn't? or shouldn't?) or the tattoos are offensive so can't be shown

I remember when Charmed started out (poorly) covering Alyssa Milano & Holly Marie Combs tattoos but a few seasons in they just gave up. You watch season 1 though & you can clearly see the makeup covering them - either that or their skin is suddenly a funny colour

. Of course techniques have changed quite a bit since then so I'm sure if they do cover any tattoos they can do it a lot better now. That's the only time I've knowingly watched something where tattoos were covered

In the crossover, didn't Supergirl/Kara mention Batwoman/Kate having a lot of tattoos?

ETA: The pair also commented on the similarities between Rose and her character, revealing that they made Kate Kane be vegan to reflect Rose and incorporated the actresses’ tattoos into the character.

Yeah that's more reason why I presume that they wouldn't cover them up. They've clearly references that she has them

. Plus most of them or at least the more prominent ones are on her arms & hands so it'd be a bit to cover up. I don't remember if any from her hands are removed in the Arrow ep?
