Fast X was not the last official FatF movie. Fast X ends with huge cliffhangers, there will be at least one more Fast movie. Vin Diesel announced two more movies but I'm unsure if that will ever happen.

Yeah they definitely cannot conclude the Fast films with the Fast X film, another film is needed to close the series off
