I still think it was a huge mistake for Universal to let Vin Diesel announce two more parts at the Fast X premiere in Rome. Why? Why not wait for the box office numbers? It's part 10 of a series about flying cars and silly action and medium acting. The costs are gigantic, don't they know how hard it is to get that money back? Are the people involved delusional? A gigantic box office bomb can both ruin acting careers and film studios.

At least Brie got her money, some additional attention and hopefully Captain Marvel does well enough. Only 5 months to go...

A movie like Fast X should be watched in cinema with a big soundsystem and on a big screen. And Brie Larson has to be enjoyed on the big screen, that's for sure.

Many movies can be watched at home as well, that's what you have your big flatscreen for.

Je suis d'accord with your opinion. I myself can wait a couple of months for new movies to be released digitally because I usually don't care to be up to date. Not at all. And it's way cheaper. I don't go to the cinema anymore minus a few exceptions. Since August 2020, I've been to the cinema 5 times. Since August of 2017, I've been to the cinema 5 times.

Of course it has to do with the fact that the one cinema that was very close to me shut down, the others are further away and also that I got less time and got more into streaming. Until 2011, I went to the cinema at least I think 10 times a year with my friends.

I don't know or remember if this has been posted already. I hadn't heard about the dates, so here we go.

"Apple TV+ has set a fall premiere date for limited drama series Lessons in Chemistry, starring and executive produced by Oscar winner Brie Larson. The series will debut with the first two episodes on Friday, October 13. New episodes will debut weekly on Fridays through November 24."
