This guy im talking about...im pretty sure he just thinks hes wastin his time hanging out with me cuz it's not gonna go anywhere. Like Maybe I broke a little piece of his heart so he doesn't want to stick around and play this game we play. I get it but I don't get how he can just not care anymore. The guy really sounds like a jerk when I describe him here but he's not. I can't explain it. Think Decisions D/Jo where Joey is tired of the games they play and says she's just done....Luke can u bring over that scene right before she tells him their honesty is severely lacking?

To be honest, I never liked that song. I always thought it was an odd tune and could have been more romantic sounding. But the lyrics are perfect and that line couldn't describe how Joey feels any better. Hah, remember how I told u guys I thought for the longest time that the song said "to your lala" instead of "to your love"

it was cuz of the lala that I didn't like the song for the longest time...I thought it was dumb

^^ He doesn't sound like a jerk at all like you said he probably likes you a lot and doesn't want to get to close just to have his heart broken even more.

Joey: Look, I am tired of all the drama in my life right now Dawson. And leaving town just makes the most sense to me so

Dawson: No, it doesn't.

Joey: Why should I stay? Is there some new release at the video store I don't know about? It's time to grow up Dawson.

Dawson: Well then we'll do it together. Joey, I could grow up give me a chance. Even Spielberg outgrew his Peter Pan syndrome.

Joey: I could have told you that months ago, Dawson.

Dawson: You did.

Joey: Yeah. Dawson, I'm so tired of dancing around these big words. I just want to be honest with you.

Dawson: Me too. Jo, more than anything, I just want to be honest.

Joey: Do you think we're ready for that honesty?

Did anyone else notice that they kinda copied that line in season 6 for Joey and Eddie ?

Ugh. I guess the writers ran out of things to say so they started repeating lines.

^^True. KW/PS trying to convey "how ridiculous it really would be for them to end up together" is insane. I know we could put together a speech that makes P/Jo look a billion times worse...

Perfect summary there.

I have very few issues with Dawson/James' looks in any of the seasons besides S1 (OMG 90s) and a minor problem with the longish hair in S4.
But I would love to see them all do a reunion show that'd be years in the future (tho it'd be a pain without Michelle) & have them look the way they do now
