I think he and Athena have beautiful rich emotional scenes. They are great scene partners. But the triangle is dragging now. I am ready for more scenes investigating with Mich - those are also a different kind of emotion. And more with the kids.

I'm just finding myself not interested in them as a couple while they're being dragged by this triangle. Michaela's getting so much more to do in terms of her career etc. I hope Ben is back at work soon.

They could have left her moving on with Danny and played it out so differently. She broke it off immediately. We see joy when she finds out Ben and Cal are alive. She tells Ben everything straight up. Olive sees Danny behind their backs leading to the shoplifting scene and Olive admitting she wants Danny still in her life. Everything ends up the same place, but Grace is sympathetic. Even if she later decides she actually wants to be with Danny, we know she was honest and tried.

Right now Grace looks like she is cheating on Ben. I like the other idea better. Grace and Ben look like they are a team in that version. How long before this show starts getting fan fiction?
