Yeah I'd find that more believable. Maybe he's just gone away to regroup to come back to them stronger & more prepared? Or to find another way to get Hunter out? I also can't imagine that Parker would've had any interaction with his father before he left as that wouldn't be a good one as surely Alastair would've been pissed off with him about Hunter? Yet he's the one who said that his father was scared?

I liked his 1x05 scenes and now finally [beyond late] caught up with Legacies fully can focus my attention back here
