Okay, I watched the episode last night where Conde and Mary first got physical. And when Francis ended up with Narcisses' niece/cousin/whoever.

Seeing things less emotionally now-and I don't really hate Conde. At least not yet. I hate his meddling brother. It's just (so far in the story) all Conde has done is support, and protect Mary. She wasn't as good to him.

Doesn't make me like Mary any less, at all, but it does help me see Conde's view. I think further along, he gives me reason to not like him, but right now, I don't hate him the way I did then.

I get that. I think I just didn't pay much attention to them, which I tend to do when I don't like a story line.

Sometimes I wonder just how much is fiction, or fact.

I wasn't so sure about the Darnley story line, although a part of Mary's real story. Addie did so well in season 4 though, and, of course, looked gorgeous.

Mary always stood up for her country. I have to respect that she left France, her known home, to go back and run her country.

Do you think she'll ever do something out of a past era again, or that she's done with that?


ETA-okay, I just went back to season 1. A little girl gives her a rosary to take with her. I wonder if it's the same one she was holding right before she was beheaded? Anyone read anything about that?
