I have now started season 2 and it starts with them apart which sucks and I hear that season 2 isn't great for them

Season 2 is really hard for me to re-watch.

This is the first time I've tried to re-watch it, and I already had to take a break, and go back to season one.

I'm very curious to hear what you think as you go through it.

I have just seen 2x04 and it was both a wonderful and heartbreaking episode!

I loved Mary telling Francis that they were going to have a baby

But we got such heartbreak with Mary loosing their baby

but they way he looked after her and those lanterns at the end were so lovely. She is his light

That was exactly the way you worded it, and loving the entire way. He was there for her in both situations.

I was heartbroken for her, but wow, Francis was so special in the way he went about helping her feel better.

I am annoyed that his secret is tearing him and Mary apart! I know he is trying to protect her but he just needs to tell her the truth!

I know. The happy moments were worth all the pain, for me, though.

Still, it makes me very sad that their relationship/marriage was so difficult for them.

Okay, just looking at those gifs, now I'm back to having to watch again.

I am forcing myself to try more of season 2, where I left off.

I don't want to miss any of the story. Besides, I do watch for Mary herself, and it's part of her story.

Season 2 is so sad for these two and for Mary!

I am enjoying the season but its heavy going! Hope season is better for these two

It is definitely a rough season for them. I was heartbroken for both of them after what happened to Mary. Both Toby and her were amazing.

I haven't watched the end of it. I kind of skipped to season 3, and then the final episode.

I have never seen S2 so all the episodes are new to me now so that is exciting but also opens me up to heartbreak!
