That was beyond cruel.
For some reason, I felt it was typical of that era and time, but watching it? It was just devastating. I did get a little angry that Francis seemed to take some pleasure in seeing Bash have to watch them that way. Mary didn't want to hurt either of them. I don't remember if they showed a reaction from her. __________________

I think she saw that he was there but Francis got her to focus on him at that point.

I think you're right.
I'm at the part in season 2, where they're leading separate lives. The only part I'm taking any joy in is seeing Francis and Lola being friends, just friends, and co-parents. __________________
