I'm not sure how far it's true but I read that the sequel was greenlit pretty recently and they're going to announce it soon. Probably after deciding when it can be filmed, based on Lana and Noah's schedules.

So cute, love the caption of the second one, can very much relate.

One of the comments made me laugh, somebody asked if anybody else found it unrealistic and disney -channel-esque. When are romantic comedies ever realistic?

Yup, the caption is great.

That’s a silly comment, all right.

Romantic comedies are not supposed to be 100% realistic (though this movie was quite relatable so I’m not sure what this person is getting at) and it’s actually less corny/sappy than a lot of other rom coms in general.

Exactly, they bonded over their respective losses and spent a lot of time getting to know each other ... so it felt very natural that they eventually fell for each other. I just watched another Netflix Christmas movie and the couples fell in love in 2 days.

Now, that is definitely more unrealistic.
