I guess that's true, but I guess I think of Katniss as a stronger female protagonist and I think it's less supernatural and more sci-fi. I wouldn't be surprised with the team things even though that can be very annoying.

Katniss is a stronger female protagonist. You're right about that. It is more sci-fi, but a lot of times sci-fi and supernatural (fantasy) are linked together.

There are the differences of course. Yeah the teams are annoying.

I agree! It's not all about the romance. The romance in THG is very subtle, and I was actually quite surprised by it because I wasn't expecting it when I read the first book.

THG is much darker, more psychological, and it just really makes you think more. I got my brother into reading the first book, and he stayed up late and finished it in one night.

I wish I could get people in reading THG, but most of them are too busy to read. I do have on friend that might read them, but I am afraid it will scare her off. LOL. I'll try next time I see her.
