And I was already sort of okay with the fact that they rushed that last season because of SW. But then they ended up not doing it (for I dunno what reason) so it all seems like a joke now.

Yeah I agree about that. They did decide to step down on those projects after the GOT finale ep aired. And for sure they are very much aware of the negative reaction as GOT has one of the biggest fanbase in the world.

I hate that for them but I'm assured that their absence from interviews and anything else after the finale ended means they know about the backlash.
