What was so difficult about coming over to say goodbye and pet him? It's very OOC indeed. Plus we didn't know if Jon & Ghost were gonna see each other again so there's no way Jon wouldn't say a proper goodbye to Ghost in that moment.

 Besides, I don't see Ghost just leaving with Tormund without getting a command from Jon, he was way too loyal__________________

So much loose strings really. Thank goodness for that reunion scene which makes that non-goodbye a fake out moment.

Right!? I think that with more time dedicated to all storylines that were open back in season 6, they would be able to give use the same concept of the conclusion with a much better execution

They really would have. I always thought both seasons (especially the last) would've benefited with better story-telling if they had more eps because what happened was everything was in fast forward when for the past 6 seasons, everything took time out to develop/happen. It became unbelievable that Dany would easily get to the North as she has never ever been there at all. Gendry being able to ask help easily was so unbelievable too.

That time line was ridiculous.. Gendry ran back to the Wall, they managed to send a raven to Daenerys way down in Dragonstone and she flew to the rescue all in the same night

Yeah it all happened in one ep right? Normally that would've taken, I dunno, 2 to 3 eps perhaps? Plus having Gendry there only to send him back was so laughable. I was all for him fighting with the rest.

I think that what pisses us off is the fact that GOT had so much potential and it went so well done for the majority of the seasons that it's hard to believe that they made such a mess in the end__________________

For sure. It did well for so long, surely it's not gonna be bad until the end right? Sadly that wasn't the case and we expected D&D to deliver because they know this stuff and have been doing a good job on the show until those last 2 seasons.
