Thanks, I learn something new everyday.
Oh I didn't know it was in French. I'm okay with that. I'm used to reading other languages and I don't mind subtitles. What was the role Kit played? __________________

Only a few scenes were in French, not the whole play. And only one scene is entirely in French, IIRC. And Kit only speaks a bit of it, badly on purpose.
Kit played the title character, Henry V. BTW, National Theatre has a streaming service. I don't know if Henry V is on there though. It might be worth a look if you want to see the play but can't find any other options. __________________

How long was it?
Streaming service on YT or somewhere else? I'm not sure if it's the same theater company that puts some plays online on YT but only for a limited time. I remember a play the late Helen McCrory and Tom Burke was on was made available on YT but I missed it. I forgot if that was from National Theatre. __________________

It's 3 hours long. There's a 20 minute intermission.
The streaming service is similar to Netflix and the others. I was looking at it, but Henry V isn't on there. Maybe later when it leaves the theaters. __________________

Hopefully it'll be available to stream soon because that's the only way I can watch it.
Also National Theatre (cinema showing) isn't available across the country there or you can watch it everywhere? __________________

I can only speak for my city. There was a one time showing on one day at one theater. There was only one time I could see it. I'm assuming it was the same for other places that showed it, but I can't say for sure. Also its cinema release seems to be happening over the course of months. The play ended months ago, but I just saw it last week. And it's still set to play in other cities still, I believe. It seemed like some select cities, it's not playing everywhere.

Thanks for explaining. I do hope a good amount of people have watched it. I'm not familiar with the entire story of Henry V and that's why I'm curious to watch it. And of course to see how Kit performs.

I wasn't familiar with it either. I picked up what I thought was Henry V in the bookstore. Later, I realized it was Henry IV. So I gave up and read a summary on Wikipedia.
The theater I saw it in was kind of empty. But it was two major holidays that day. I was one of the youngest ones there. __________________

OH wow, haha! I would've preferred watching in that theater actually.
And just like a play, it has an intermission towards the middle right? It has been a while since I watched a play. __________________

Yes, the intermission is in the middle. I think it was between acts 3 and 4.

Ah okay, thanks. I thought it was usually between Acts 2 & 3.
Also was it the same experience watching it at the cinema or would you have preferred watching it live? __________________

It depends on the play. I don't remember it that well, but I'm pretty sure it was before Act 4. Actually 4 is where all the battle stuff started.

I really wish we can have some plays shown here or even streamed if that's possible because that's the only way I can watch Kit's play.

Me too. I miss going to theaters and watching plays. It's expensive here (the ticket prizes) so it's been a while for me.
