HAHA. That's true. I'll just watch this weekend because month end is killing me now and I'm just tired when I go home.

This always happens to me when it's month end. I don't get enough rest and sleep late.

I was supposed to watch this weekend but I ended up watching F1 so I still haven't seen the ep.

It took me 6 months until my post above to watch Modern Love S2. I finally watched all of it and the one with Kit's ep was good except the ending is so frustrating.

My favorite episode is the first one with Minnie Driver. OMG. I cried, I didn't expect to cry.

I'm glad that you enjoyed most of Kit's episode, Lindsay. I'm sorry that the ending was frustrating.

Tom Burke (my fave actor and crush too, LOL) is also in that Minnie Driver ep. I didn't know he was in the ep so I was pleasantly surprised.

His next project is for Apple TV+. We still don't have a premiere date for it and I'm not sure if we're getting it this year or next year. I'm looking forward to watching that.

Posting this here so I don't forget.

Quote:
Apple TV+ has lined up a star-studded cast for a climate change anthology series.

Meryl Streep, Kit Harington and Matthew Rhys will head the ensemble for Extrapolations, an eight-episode drama from writer Scott Z. Burns (Contagion, The Report) and The Morning Show production company Media Res. The cast also includes Sienna Miller, Gemma Chan, Tahar Rahim, Daveed Diggs, David Schwimmer and Adarsh Gourav, with additional actors to be announced.

Extrapolations, which is currently in production, will tell interconnected stories about how the upcoming changes to the planet will affect love, faith, work and family.

Details of Streep’s role, her first series work since HBO’s Big Little Lies in 2019, are being kept under wraps. Miller (The Loudest Voice) will play a marine biologist. Harington (Game of Thrones) plays the CEO of an industrial giant. Rahim (The Mauritanian) plays a man struggling with memory loss. Rhys (Perry Mason) will play a real estate developer. Diggs (Snowpiercer) plays a rabbi in South Florida. Chan (Eternals) plays a single mother and micro-finance banker. Schwimmer (Friends, Intelligence) plays the father of a teenage daughter. Gourav (The White Tiger) plays a driver for hire.

I guess I'll talk about Henry V here. It's a theater role but I saw it on a movie screen.

Anyways, I thought it was amazing. Kit was wonderful in the role, and now I want to read the play, and the tetralogy. The whole cast was great across the board. I need to look them up because I thought they were all fantastic.

It was cool to see Kit "on stage", and I got to see some things I've never seen him do before. I enjoyed his dancing and his "bad French". And I didn't realize when people talk about a "St. Crispin's speech", it's based on an actual speech in Henry V. And it's where the term "Band of Brothers" comes from.

Lindsay, you'll be relieved to know that Kit didn't share any scenes with that super tall co star. He was on the French side. And I wonder if that's why half of King Henry's soldiers were played by women.

I'm unfamiliar with St. Crispin's speech.

HAHA! So he really is a tall co-star and it wasn't because of the camera angle? I'm glad Kit did wonderfully. I did see a lot of positive reviews about him in that play.

Lindsay, I'm pretty sure he was a castmate. I'll have to double check. When they did the curtain call at the end, I noticed he looked familiar and was taller than everyone else. The rest if the cast was around Kit's height.

When a leader gives a rousing speech before a battle, it sometimes gets called a "St. Crispin's speech". In Henry V, in the 4th (?) Act, King Henry gives a speech before the battle and it's on St. Crispin's Day. I had heard the term so many times but didn't know the source .

The reviews I saw were mixed, buy it was more about the production than the cast. But I thought the production was good too. I know people didn't like that it had other languages (mostly French), but it worked for me. Luckily, it was subtitled.

I hope everyone here gets a chance to see it. If it's not playing near you, maybe check streaming?
