And another laughable thing is that it has been said they rushed the last 2 seasons because they were working on another project (I think it was a Star Wars thing, I forgot) but then that project didn't even push through. *insert clown emoji here*

 but serves them right... they should've done a good job with the project they already had... nothing was stopping them to work with the other at the same time or to postpone it for another year or so IMO__________________

Exactly. That wasn't an excuse for them to make those last 2 seasons laughable. And those last 2 seasons should deliver especially knowing that there were no more books they can base their script on.

If they had done it write, they would've be cheered for accomplishing an amazing end for a story that everybody was dying to find out the end... now people can't wait for GRRM's ending (again) in hopes of him fixing the end a bit

Me too. He's the author after all and if it's a better ending, then well and good. And by then we can compare it with what transpired on the show.

We could have had "GOT WAS THE BESET SHOW!" from fans to this day. I guess HBO is still happy because millions still watched that last season and most fans stuck until the end.

Yeah, HBO won't complain because they got ratings til the end and even if the final season wasn't great, still there was a lot of buzz around it.
But you're right, it could've been the best show from beginning to end...  __________________
