OMG I really loved all of those friendships especially Tyrion's friendships with Bronn and Varys. And Tyrion is another character that the fandom loves so I'm glad he didn't die.

I LOVE Tyrion... honestly I got super disappointed with his character after he joined forces with Daenerys (he hasn't had one single clever idea since), but he was such a great character that I really didn't want him to die

He had one of the best characters arcs so for him to die would be a lame ending for him (unless he died in battle). And much like Jon, he was the odd one out because he was a dwarf and because of that I was rooting for him.

I actually wanted him to end up as the Hand... just not like the way it happened... he just went from a prisoner to the Hand without really showing anything that earned him the position in the end __________________

The way he was given that pin by Dany as the Hand was emotional and Peter's acting was on-point on that one. But after being Dany's hand, I can't believe I'm saying this, it wasn't all as exciting as I had hoped it would be.

Like sure, he's achieved what he's ever wanted but it wasn't really what it's cracked up to be. Was it supposed to be that way for Tyrion because Dany was spiraling or were we just expecting too much?

I really won't wait for news about him finishing the books. He's the writer, he probably had a writer's block and that's why he was delayed. But hopefully he does finish it so we can at least know how it was in the books and not the rushed version on the show.

I think at first he was too busy to focus on the book and how to finish it... now that he has seen how the ending was accepted in the show, he's probably trying to figure out a way to do better (hopefully)

I hope that's the case.
 I wish GRRM had finished the books before the show ended but sadly that didn't happen. It's sad that we're wishing the book is better because the show ended badly.__________________

I think that if he had finished the book first, the show would've worked things a little bit better as they would have a sort of road map to follow, so it wouldn't be okay to rush some things__________________

And I remember reading that D&D did refer a lot to the books when they were doing most of the seasons. For the last 2 seasons, they only had pitches from GRRM or basically a summary of what's gonna happen.
