Not to mention also the surprise appearance of Nymeria. I didn't understand what that was for. It was nice of course but there was no follow-up. It was so random.

That was super random
 I personally didn't see the point in that scene.... I could've gone without it tbh  I'd rather if they had used that CGI for more Ghost scenes (or at least made Nymeria be part of the battle in Winterfell__________________

If there was a follow-up to having Nymeria appear later on, then good. But there wasn't so it definitely appeared to be random and purely fan service since we were also dwindling down to the last 2 seasons and everyone was curious what happened to Nymeria.

I gotta confess that by the 7th season I wasn’t really thinking about Nymeria that much
 Then when she appeared to Arya, I thought “nice, now she’ll probably help out Arya or the Starks eventually” but nope… that was it, so yeah, it felt like fan service __________________

True. I've also accepted the fact that Nymeria might be dead since we haven't seen her for such a long time so it was nice to know that she is alive but I thought they'd follow-up for the last season but they didn't.

Although knowing that now what went on with Nymeria, I'd rather that we didn't get her back at all because that was so unnecessary.

Right? Instead of unnecessarily bringing back Nymeria, we would've appreciated it more of we had more Ghost scenes instead.
