That's for sure If Davos had stayed there he wouldn't have run away, so he would definitely die by Ramsay's hand (or his soldiers)

I don't remember the details, but I think Stannis purposefully sent Davos to Castle Black because he knew about needing to do a blood sacrifice

That makes sense with Stannis' way of thinking. It's really a blessing in disguise that Davos wasn't there plus I feel like if he was there both Shireen & him will die.

I hate that the excuse seems to be because there were fewer eps in those last 2 seasons but they've been consistent for the past seasons so surely those last 2 seasons are supposed to be good...right?
