There was something about him that made me like him quickly, although yeah I don't really recall if that happened before or after Tyrion's trial. I do remember that I did enjoy his visit to Tyrion while he was in prison and when he told him about his visit to Casterlyrock when Tyrion was a baby expecting to see something grotesque and ended up just being a baby (showed that he didn't have prejudice), and how cruel Cersei already was.

I love that scene and conversation. And the fact that the only people who visited Tyrion are the people who really do care for him. Unless I'm forgetting if there are other people who visited him there that wants him dead?
