I will be watching tennis and skiing on the tv. If the weather is nice, I plan to plant things on my allotment.

My week is not bad... but it's long.... I'm working a lot and I'm back at pilattes so now I'm in pain everywhere

that the weather allows you to plant, Julie! Hope you enjoy watching the sports

Julie, same. I'll be watching tennis this weekend cause it's the finals! Nole vs. Dom! Garbine vs. Sofia!

Si, that's good that you're doing pliates! I have constant back pain so I always get massages and go to the gym when I can.

So, who are you guys hoping will win in the tennis match? I only know Nole from the ones you mentioned But at least I know one

Pilates is new to me, as a part of my physical therapy... I have those super flat feet and if I don't do PT I get constant pain in my feet and knee But if I'm to be honest I'm really enjoying it, way better than going to the gym

For the women's match, they're not my favorites so it doesn't matter to me who wins. For the men's, I'm rooting for Nole. Dominic is good but Australian Open has been Nole's "home court". If Nole loses, I'd be really surprised.

Ah I see. Pilates will definitely help with therapy for your flat feet.

I've never tried Pilates. I hope it works for your feet, Si.

I want Muguruza and Thiem to win. I'm watching the women's final now.

Hope the players you're rooting for win (or at least play really well )

Pilates is a total new thing for me, and I confess I was skeptical about it but I'm exercising muscles I had no idea I had

How is the weekend treating you girls?

Julie, Kenin won and she was amazing! I'm actually scared of Dominic because I think he's capable of dethroning Nole.

Si, does Pilates help with back pain? I have this constant back pain that won't go away even with a few massages. I was told it was because of bad posture plus I'm getting older too so...

Nole won, right? I think I heard about it today

It does! Last year I had a really bad case of back pain (I just got stuck and couldn't move on a Sunday that was painful and terrifying) since I started pilates I haven't had any back pains. I like it because they really focus on posture and breathing... weird as it sounds I just found out I was breathing wrongly when doing physical activities

Yup Nole won. I think mentally he was much better than Dominic. Being in such a tournament sometimes concentration is a huge factor and one can easily get distracted or be emotionally affected. Dominic is very young and he will win a grand slam soon, there's no doubt about it.

Damn, I probably should sign up at the gym. I didn't want to do it because I'm already going to the gym plus pilates will just give me more time at the gym and I can only do an hour if I'm not lazy. Thanks for the tip! I'll ask here.

I enjoyed the tennis and skiing even though the players I wanted to win didn't and my favourite skier, Matthias Mayer, was ill and didn't compete. I couldn't even do anything at my allotment because of the weather. It was a good weekend apart from that.

that you girls had fun watching tennis and ski
Sorry you couldn't work in the allotment, Julie.
Weirdly here we had a lot of rain and the electrical grid was going down all the time and that was annoying

Julie, why how's the weather there? Sorry about Matthias and that he fell ill.

Si, ugh that can be annoying. It doesn't' usually rain there at this time of the year? We haven't had rain here for quite sometime which is rare. It's been really cold here especially early morning and early evening. Our weather bureau said it'll be like this until the 2nd week of this month. And then summer starts roughly first week of March until June. Which means it's hell for us.

Actually this time of the year we do have some rain, but usually just those summer rains that can be strong, but usually are very quick.
You should enjoy the cold weather then, because knowing hot weather I'm sure you'll be missing these days once summer hits

The weather was too wet for gardening but today the weather was dry enough for me to plant 3 types of potatoes. My Narcissi, broad beans and broccoli are coming through well.

I'm sorry that your electrical grid was down, Si.
