Julie, what's a narcissi? OMG, I love strawberries.

Si, LOL. I'm like that with watermelon. How do they look like when they're full grown and how does one know when they're okay to be picked?

Happy weekend everyone! It's already Friday here.

I don't really know flowers, but I'm pretty sure that narcissi is the same as Daffodil :)

Ohh I've seen a watermelon plant, my uncle has them in his farm  I think to know when it's time to harvest them there is something about the sound they make when you give a little tap on them :D

Happy weekend, girls!! Any plans?

TFTNT! :flowers: The title cracks me up!!!

Ah thanks! Daffodils are pretty. :)

So is it like a pumpkin then? Do you need to tap pumpkins too to know when to harvest them? I know very little about growing vegetables. I suck at them and can't take care of plants too.

Si_Crazy 01-25-2020 04:22 PM

No problem :D
 We're getting to know everything about Julie's allotment, so I thought it was a good title

I had no idea that pumpkins were like that  But that makes sense, they are similar in a way
:high_five: I'm also not good taking care of plants...

I love it. And the gif in the OP too.

Ever since I was a kid. Remember those times the teacher made us plant something? They always die on me.

Any plans this weekend? :)

Si_Crazy 01-26-2020 05:45 PM

:lmao: I think I only planted like one bean and after it sprouted it died :lmao:

I've done some organizing today, got my craft stuffs, drawing stuffs and stickers all organized (I'm so proud of myself :lmao:)
How about you?

L i N d $ @ y 01-26-2020 09:13 PM

LOL! Story of our lives.

It's Monday morning here now and I'm at work. Everyone's talking about Kobe's death (and his daughter too). It's really tragic and shocking to wake up to this news on this side of the world. I'm not a big basketball fan but he's very well-known and a legend of the sport. :(

Sulieter 01-27-2020 08:19 AM

I love the title. :yay:

I used to plant cress at school in some tissue paper. It always grew very quickly. :D

Yes, daffodils are part of the narcissus family. Narcissi is the plural form. :)

I've been so busy watching tennis, skiing and biathlon that I have been on here much over the weekend.

I have just had delivered a big tub of fertiliser so I ready for planting stuff soon. :D

I heard about Kobe Bryant's death on the news. I didn't know a lot about him but it was sad to hear, and about the death of his daughter and the other people too. :(

Si_Crazy 01-27-2020 07:38 PM

It's sad the news about Kobe and everybody that died in that accident :( I'm not a sports fan, but he was super famous so I knew at least who he was.

Julie had a way with planting stuffs since school :D

L i N d $ @ y 01-27-2020 09:27 PM

Julie, oh wow this whole allotment thing is finally taking off.

Si, yeah he is super famous and I honestly don't know anyone who doesn't know him. It's tragic how he died and for someone who is a sports icon, it's quite shocking to see him go this way. :(

Sulieter 01-28-2020 09:40 AM

I should be able to do some digging in a week or so, depending on the weather. :)

L i N d $ @ y 01-28-2020 09:22 PM

I hope the weather cooperates then so you can harvest some veggies. :)

Sulieter 01-29-2020 08:43 AM

Thank you. :D

Si_Crazy 01-29-2020 07:50 PM

I hope the weather lets you work on your allotment, Julie :D

How is the end of the month treating you, Lindsay?

L i N d $ @ y 01-29-2020 08:58 PM

Julie, do you have any plans this weekend?

Si, it's actually pretty slow for a month end which is alarming. But at least my team has made the monthly quota already and we still have one day to catch up so that's good. I hope you're having a better week at work though. :)
