I'm glad for you that it happened before y'all moved because for your mom to have that realization afterwards would have been bad, but that's the thing with people and especially parents, sometimes you gotta let them do their thing and hope they realize things on their own.

Exactly! I could only sit back and hope for the best. My dad wasn't there so he doesn't know what we were experiencing, but he takes our word for it and completely understands why we don't want to leave now. So I'm so glad we are all on the same page!

It’s been bad so far! My dad is at the hospital because of his heart. I think all this stress has finally gotten to him. Nobody can be there with him either because of COVID restrictions. So it really sucks!

Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear that, that must be scary for all of you, I can't imagine how worried you and your mom must be and not being able to by his side has to be so difficult for both of you and him as well I imagine; I hope your dad will be okay and he'll be back at home with y'all soon

Thank you! They are keeping him overnight for observation, and so that they can do an echocardiogram first thing tomorrow. Based of current test results, he has a big problem with the right side of his heart. A month ago it looked great, but stress has changed it majorly. Now his heart is struggling majorly to pump the way it’s supposed too, and so after seeing what is causing this via the echocardiogram, then he can decide when and if heart surgery will be needed sometime soon. Because it can lead to heart attack if this doesn’t get fixed ASAP. So won’t know anything more until tomorrow morning.

He did, and he’s doing alright! He went to work today and did light duty, and tomorrow morning he takes his echocardiogram test. So by tomorrow end of day, should have answers.

Got the test results back, it’s all good! Apparently this was just a stress related attack, and because he has heart failure, it made him sick. But nothing serious is going on, he’s good! I’m so relieved, I’ve been so stressed.
