Here in France, Senior and Freshman never mixed

it was like never gonna happen. I thought there were big line and they made it feel that way in the show (from what I remember)
In US, for me, they always make it seem like a big deal when it's not in real but 14 to 18 is a big difference when 20 to 24 is not...it's the teenager years that make them seem so far apart!

For me, I was watching 7th Heaven LIVE and I didn't care for the age difference at all.

I always loved how the first person Martin met on the show was Ruthie.

Still with Ruthie.. she kinda always will be that cute little girl..

I never watched the later seasons, but her dating feels kinda weird to me

yeah I loved them from day 1 too but they made it feel like wrong and I didn't like that because it felt so right

^ I think the way it got built over the seasons was in an understandable way where it didn't seem like the age difference was a huge deal.

yes i feel the same. like here in sweden it's totally cool, like i had friends who hated 18 year olds when they were 15 - 16, and it's totally normal.

Ruthie was like my all time favourite character

and I was so sad when they didn't give her a proper love story...

Ruthie got on my nerve a lot as she grew up sadly.

Liked her better at her younger ages.
Martin was horrible during most of Season 10 as well.

I'm with Tia on that one.. The few episodes I saw in the later seasons Ruthie was never my favorite

I loved her when she was tiny though

I'm glad Rora.. I never understood why that was such a drama in all the tv shows.. like when one of your family got naked..

I loved Ruthie in her scenes with Martin though.

So, the Marthie ship got me through those tough episodes when I didn't like them much as singular characters. lol

I love Ruthie all the way even if she screwed up but mainly with Martin, this was the only time that I felt she belongs. Martin wasn't perfect either, none of them.

I never understood the necessary either of always bringing drama but I guess it was to keep the people entertained

they're a good dynamic and they're chemistry was on point. I always loved Mackenzie and with Tyler it was
