Yeah, this group with Tunisia and Panama handing out goals left and right shows there’s a limit to the number of countries it’s sensible to have in the final tournament.
Well, Lukaku and Kane say thank you in their chase for the golden boot.  And of course it’s a great win for England, they’re through to the round of 16 and will battle for the 1st place in this group with Belgium. __________________

England have a youthful but inexperienced squad - however this might be their advantage. We are not expecting them to go further than Quarter finals but we will see

You edited your post after I made mine, yeah Belgium have several players who play in the PL, they definitely have a lot of quality.
We’ll see how far England will go, at least at this point it’s looking better than many years before. __________________

Since appointing Gareth Southgate as manager I think they went with youth. Belgium are impressive though.

They wanted a blank slate to work with.
 Belgium is one those who could go all the way. I’m watching Japan vs. Senegal. Whoever wins this has a very good chance at advancing. Currently it’s 1-0 for Senegal. __________________

I think Senegal will go through.
Belgium look good indeed but they always mess up against big teams. But both Belgium and England will have easier opposition in the last 16 because it is from the group Senegal are in: Senegal, Japan, Poland and Colombia so I think both Belgium and England may progress into QF ETA: Japan 1 Senegal 1 at Half-time - the game is evenly poised atm __________________

True, Belgium have yet to live up to their full potential. That’s true about the opponent in the round of 16, being the first in this group isn’t a clear objective.
Japan vs. Senegal ended 2-2. And Poland vs. Colombia is about to start. Neither of them can afford to lose. __________________

Japan and Senegal game was quite good. Colombia currently leading Poland 1-0 as they approach half time - quite an open group

I’m happy for England and that they made it to the round of 16 but to be honest England was way out of Panama’s league. The difference in the quality of these two teams was massive. And same with Belgium and Panama.
Belgium vs. England will be interesting because they’re both finally playing against someone who’s a match to them. __________________
