Nottingham tennis started yesterday and the rain has screwed it up just like Roland Garros

First year I've ever seen them decide to move matches indoors and it's hilarious to watch, like hilariously bad -- looks like you're watching teenagers practice during school hours in a sports hall  One camera and the view is bad. The crew need to sort it out

Hopefully, they will.

I am watching the Stuttgart Open on The Tennis Channel.

You're welcome, Nikki.

Here is a brief update from last week's events.

First of all at Queen's Club, Andy Murray made a triumphant return as he captured the doubles title along with Feliciano Lopez, who also won the singles title. Great win for Andy, who had a great return to action. Hopefully this will be a shot in the arm for him.

At Halle, Fed won the Noventi Open for the 10th time.

Also Ashleigh Barty won the Nature Valley Classic and Sofia Kenin won the Mallorca Open.

So that's the latest update from the tour.

This week's events, which are in progress, are the Nature Valley International in Eastbourne and the Turkish Airlines Antalya Open.

Meanwhile in some really bad news, Delpo refractured his kneecap and fears that it could be career ending. This is just so unbelievably terrible for Delpo. :( Just as he was making his way back, this happens. :(

Caroline did win today vs. Petkovic 6-4 & 6-4. That is devastating news about del Potro. Wish him the best.

NikNak 06-26-2019 11:20 AM

My heart is broken for Del Potro.

So very happy for Murray's return and title in doubles!

Thanks for the news, Rod.
