A trade between the L.A. Lakers & New Orleans Pelicans has reportedly been agreed to. Here are the details: Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart, plus 3 1st round draft picks of the Lakers including the #3 overall pick this year to New Orleans for Anthony Davis.

Yeah. It does seem like a lot for the Lakers to give up, but they haven't made the NBA Playoffs since 2013. That's tied for 3rd with the Knicks in having the longest current playoff drought in the NBA. They are only behind the Suns & Kings. Sacramento hasn't made the NBA playoffs since 2006, which is another story.
I did see a lot of the Raptors & their celebration today in Toronto. It aired on NBA TV here in the U.S. & TSN4 I believe in Canada. P.M. Justin Trudeau was there & spoke about this team. There was so many people there & plenty of streets were of course blocked off. It was enjoyable for the most part to watch I think. It was packed too. Indeed. So what do you hope happens in NBA Free Agency this summer? My hopes are that Kawhai Leonard, Danny Green, & Marc Gasol re-sign with Toronto & Enes Kanter re-signs with Portland. Marc Gasol has a Player Option & Danny Green will be an unrestricted free agent this summer, so Toronto could have some big changes to their roster this fall if Leonard doesn't re-sign with them. Then next year, Lowry, Ibaka, VanVleet, & Siakam will be free agents, though Paskal Siakam will be a Restricted free agent, while the others I mentioned Unrestricted.

Glad to hear it. There's going to be plenty of other free agents also of course, such as Kemba Walker, Al Horford, & Kyrie Irving. Those will be Unrestricted. Kristaps Porzingis will be a Restricted Free Agent. Also with the Pacers it seems like most of their team are Unrestricted Free Agents this summer.
A trade has been confirmed by ESPN today in the NBA it's The Memphis Grizzlies sending Mike Conley to the Utah Jazz for Grayson Allen, Kyle Korver, Jae Crowder, the 23rd overall pick in this year's NBA draft, & a future 1st round draft pick. I don't know if that's where he wanted to be all along. He certainly hasn't said so himself. Someone must really enjoy L.A. if they'd rather go to a team there that still won't likely win it's conference with him instead of playing for a franchise that just person just won a league title with. I wish him well though, with whatever he decides & the Raptors are going to have more roster decisions to make in the next 13 or more months regardless of what Leonard does.
