the warriors might be off to a slow start without curry, but curry is still young, he still has his explosiveness, and when he comes back the warriors will be back to dominating

if curry was 34-38 years old, that story would be different

the only outlier for a fading veteran putting on outstanding numbers was kobe, but those are once in a blue moon

Well, he'll be 32 in March, so that's not exactly young in NBA years, but his skill level I don't expect to decrease anytime soon at least. Some news today, Carmelo Anthony reportedly has signed a non-guaranteed deal with Portland.

Rodney Hood tore his ACL today vs. the Lakers. That I think will
end whatever playoff chances that his team had this year. Disappointing. The Knicks fired David Fizdale also earlier.

Aww, that's too bad.

Yes. I meant that the Knicks fired Fizdale. It's been brutal for the Blazers after making a lot of changes to their roster this summer. Pau Gasol didn't play a game of them. Nurkic, & Collins being out has been devastating for their frontcourt & now this. It's even sadder for Hood, because he took less money to play this year for Portland & he's on a contract year.

In positive news: Gordon Hayward's hand has recovered, so that he can play in his game today.

The NBA has a free preview of NBA League pass until this Friday for fans that want to watch more teams play. Chicago surprisingly beat the Clippers yesterday in an odd game. The ending of it I think too around a half hour with video replays. Final score was 109-106 with Lavine making the game winning shot. Kawhi Leonard didn't play in it, but still nice win by Chicago a day after they lost to Charlotte. Detroit also beat Houston yesterday. I'll checkout the Kings/Warriors game later as I like watching Sacramento play & Marvin Bagley III is back.

Well done by the Mavs to end Milwaukee's lengthy winning streak. Milwaukee will play the Lakers today in Wisconsin as part of a doubleheader on TNT, with the 2nd game being between the Rockets & Clippers.

Yeah sad news and David Stern really is the reason the NBA became what it is today.

He will be missed much. Stern is considered to be the best commissioner of any sport in history.
