I still love Manny. Maybe even more now he's with the Dodgers. Sorry, I can't help but love the guy. Yeah, I know he "quit" on the team, but....there's just something about him that won't allow me to hate him. Kind of like Derek Jeter. I hate the Yankees with the burning intensity of an infinity of suns, but yet, I don't dislike the guy. Maybe because I sense he's no more a fan of A-Rod than I am.

I don't know. I want to be happy about this because I do like Lackey. It's just there is something I don't like about this signing.

I heard the Sox are looking about Mike Cameron. He's another player I like, but ...I just don't see what he could bring to the Red Sox.

I think it's the "yeah, he's better than Burnett, so the money vs money there is acceptable, but I don't think he's worth 82 million" type of feeling. Add in that they are taking him away from Anaheim, and that leaves the big 2 and no one else.

I've always liked Cameron. Defense, some speed, but he's like Willie Mayes Hayes in Major League 2. Thinks he's a homerun hitter alot more than he really is, so he tries too hard sometimes for some jacks and ends up slumping for a month.

and lowell not going to rangers is bad, IMHO. i mean how many times have they tired to trade him? and this time they actually DID only to be stopped by the physical.... lowell's a professional... but they've been trying to trade him (the 2007 WS MVP) since 2007 off season

I hate that we lost Bay.

I hate to say it...but I don't really expect great things from Lowell....
I would love it if I were forced to eat those words, though.
