I don't know The Last of Us but being immune to Zombies is something I can imagine would make a cool storyline. NOT for Morgan of course, I mean generally

Yes, in the twd comics that doesn't happen though, they end with it being many decades later and old carl looks back at all what happened and the main groups joined the commonwealth which becomes the new american civilization and the walkers have become so decayed that they can't walk anymore and don't pose a thread anymore.

Btw this might interest some of you, but The Last of Us will be made into a tv series.

it's never said in the 196 issues of the b/w TWD comics, how the virus happened or even that every single human was infected. that was invented for the TWD Season 1x06 episode at the Atlanta CDC, and Rick tells everyone in Season 2, that everyone is infected, everyone will become a walker when they die. i have no idea if this is the same in the FTWD and TWB universes, but obviously if the shows all merge at some point, will we ever get some answer to the mystery?

fans of the now ended TWD comics, are still quite annoyed at smug kirkman for never answering the 20 year old question. ugh.

Yes true, in the comics only infected people become zombies, which means by end of the comics and the walkers bot being a thread anymore they do have a happy ending. Not sure if the tv show can do that too.

in the TWD tv show, everyone is infected. that is clearly shown in Season 2 and has been a long-running storyline through all the seasons.
