Late to the party, but I finally watched last weeks episode.

I HATE that each episode is going to be based on one character or one group. Why have all these characters and then ALWAYS separate them? I hate Morgan, but he was actually less annoying. And I actually found myself hoping he and Isaac don't get bit. But I would have preferred if Morgan did over Isacc

The episode felt like an Erickson era episode to me. I'm glad the season 1 original characters are back on track to their old selves. Also, the ending was pretty great and hype worthy, but also sad of course.

It was more of a Strand episode as already being said. He talked about how Alicia keeps him grounded and true to himself but Sanjay sets the tone for either Strand going off the rails and back to his selfish ways or him trying to play his upper hand for the others. I hope we don't lose him this season though! Also it's great to see that the first person Morgan recruits is Daniel. If Daniel goes back to his old self, Ginny and folks better be prepared. Two of the most dangerous people in the franchise have united.

I'm holding out for one more episode before I'll say the show is good again, but it's definitely a massive improvement over what we were getting in seasons 4-5.

watching right now but judging the first 10 minutes it's already better than entire 5th season

Overall I liked the episode. The only small issue I think is Virginia as a villain. I just don't get her motivation. Morgan and the crew was important last season mainly because of the gas place they had running.

Strand killing Sanjay was the best part of the episode I think, I am glad to see them actually realizing when a character is not going to be well liked and using them like that.

Alicia was more like a prep for Strand's storyline, however it was still much better than everything we saw last season.

i thought this was better than the premiere. it was so nice to see Alicia and Strand interacting normally, there was some enjoyable sequences, and i was glad they revealed Daniel was faking the whole memory loss thing.

it's certainly the closest thing we've gotten to the Erickson era but some of the direction, editing and blocking is still a little awkward at times to me. Erickon's era had top tier production value, editing and cinematography while these new seasons lacked all that. and hell yes we have the color back too!

also i don't think all the character work is as impactful as it could be, but it's still solid enough for now to be excited for the next episode or the one Alicia will be in.
