Nope they just said at the con they'd reveal said secret some days later and now it's forgotten. Was clearly just a publicity stunt to get more attention and people to come to the con...:mad:

AMC launching a third Walking Dead series for 2020

It's a show about two girls exploring the apocalypse. Could be interesting if alicia was one of them, maybe alicia and that girl she met in season 3, produced by Erickson. Now that would be a great show, they could have them leave the main group at some point and just the two of them experiencing a lot of stuff. But this is two random girls and it's co-produced by gimple, so I'm not even bothering to watch it. Also many of the latest actor/acress additions I dodn't like that much. Mostly mediocre ones.

This whole universe is a universe of wasted potential.

If someone could do it right, it might be interesting even

AMC is milking this cow for all its worth. As long as they maintain 1-2 million or so viewers per episode they're going to keep making more.

If they keep making new shows then in my opinion they should have new showrunners and whatnot for the show so that it allows for different tones and different visions to be created so that we can get a varied world, not just the same show with different characters in a different location. Having Gimple work on this will be a mistake.

If this was 2-3 years ago, I would be so pumped! However.. seeing the progression of the franchise, I'm anti-hyped for it. Hope it does well but can't imagine it has an early advantage like FTWD did when it started.
