i just think the air is out of this franchise.

I think so too. They should do a final season with a fast-forward last episode 100 years in the future where they finally find and cure, so that nobody who dies becomes a zombie anymore and the remaining zombies all die.

i wished they showed more of the world during the apocalypse, i mean shortly before.

Maybe a prequel show. About the reasons for the apocalypse.
