It really is.
 I don't know why it's not more popular. I think a lot of people don't like/understand dark humor. I laughed a ton.  __________________

I think maybe it was out in the wrong year, perhaps there were tons of other movies but yeah i agree with you plus the cast is actually impressive i mean Roberts and Streep, they are amazing actresses

Plus the director is also brilliant i mean he did tons of amazing movies and he was even a producer for ER (i love ER ) so yeah i guess it was nominated for some awards (a golden globe i reckon) but i was expecting more __________________

The Academy rarely gets it right IMO. They're very narrow minded in who they choose and how.

I read an article once about how most academy members don't have a clue about the animated movies so they just pick Disney...which is why Disney wins so much of the time (and why The Lego Movie wasn't even nominated). That's when I gave up on the Academy.

they don't have a clue about anything i mean yeah last year especially was awful
but oh well perhaps august osage county is one of these movies that will be better remembered in a wee bit of time  __________________

It's tough to predict what will stand the test of time. Think of all the movies over the years. It's a Wonderful Life bombed and was critically panned when it first came out.
