The more I've seen of Moffatt's work the more I think he has great ideas, great initial execution, but his follow through is lacking. It's like he has ideas but then not a way to end them. I love the idea of River Song, but the end result was "meh" for me. I love the ending of season 2 of Sherlock, but the "explanation" was meh as well. He has great ideas but no idea how to resolve them, so the end result has you going *sad trombone*

At first I thought it was to confuse the people watching so that they don't spoil it, then i realized it was most likely just to troll. It was interesting that it was mentioned again in TAB when this time Sherlock mentions the real solution when he talks about Molly

I mean, I don't hate it.
It just doesn't compare to season 2 and felt like a bit of a letdown. There are certain elements of the episodes I find extraordinary. Like the mind palace scene.  __________________
