In every country, i mean it happened in America, true it was an act of terrorism but it's still an american citizen that committed it, it's still an act of homophobia and indeed, as you said it is more the role of education that is problematic
I thought that homophobia was a minor problem because from my scale i couldn't see it, ( some of my friends are gay and never really accoutered a problem at uni ) but it is not only still there but bigger as ever

I think the actual problem is not the gay but the fact some of them are very provocative. What I mean is that I don't care about who you love however there's no reason to act childish. I had gay colleagues, and maybe I have till now and never faced a problem. They have the right to love and be loved, the biggest objection is the fact that they want to have children and what model will be for them (a gay couple).

I think that people should do what they want and that's it, if people get upset that's on them.
But i think we should stop talking about it because i'm afraid we're gonna start either a debate or an uproar which is against the rules. This is one of those issues unfortunately that are so debatable that i can create problems but basically let's just stick to our main point : homophobia is bad
