I'd love to see an episode with an open or end scene that has Sly quietly celebrating a notable event in their lives - like their anniversary, or maybe Megan's birthday.

Maybe, or it might prompt a lot more talk about her. I really hope, if the rumoured new pairing does happen, that it is handled with the proper respect to Megan.

I certainly hope we get some respectful mentions. I can definitely see a scene where Sly approaches Walter - to tell him that he's interested in someone, but wants Walter to know that he'll never forget Megan. If that happens, they may put a bit of humor in it, but I'll still be

I don't know that he necessarily needs to have that conversation with Walter specifically, but it would be great to just have that out there.

I think it would be nice if Sylvester spoke to Walter. Not to ask his permission or anything, but just to acknowledge that just because he might be moving on to someone else, it will never change how important Megan is to him. I don't think Walter would think otherwise, but Sylvester is probably the kind of person who would feel the need to say it anyway.

I suspect that Walter might even tell Sylvester that it was unnecessary to say. But it would still be nice to see, I think it would be a very Sylvester thing to do.

I wouldn't put it past him either, just to me there's something archaic about telling family members of a deceased spouse that you're always going to love them because I feel that should go without saying.

I loved how in the last episode Sylvester said he wasn't going to act on his feelings for Florence because of Megan. Ralph is right - she wouldn't want him to hold back - but it was still sweet to see that he still considers himself a husband, rather than a widower.

Megan is and always will be a part of Sly. We've said it before but it bears repeating - any woman who wants to be with Sly will have to understand that Megan will always hold a piece of his heart - a piece he can't get back, even if he wanted to and I don't think he does. But he's got a big heart - enough to give to someone new, and Megan would want him to do just that - and get a piece of someone else's heart in return.
