Tonight is the season premiere of The Voice. I'm hoping that it won't have a negative impact on Scorpion's ratings.

CBS just renewed NCIS for two more years, so maybe we'll hear about Scorpion's renewal soon!

It's the second from the lowest hour long show on CBS before NCIS, so that's a really good sign!

Considering they were up against a 2-hour premiere of The Voice, I don't think this one day will count for much. Both The Voice (NBC) and The Bachelor (ABC) will be doing 2-hour shows again next week, but that will be up against a Scorpion re-run. I'm not sure if either or both of those will stick to the two-hour format, or will back down to an hour.

At least DVR lifts count for something - Scorpion did adjust down, but they haven't had the three day DVR lift yet much less the seven day one. And I seem to remember last year, we did really well with that.

I've seen a lot of people on various sites freaking out over the ratings. I'm not worried though. 10pm is almost always getting lower ratings than 9pm and Monday was a holiday. (A crappy one, but a holiday nonetheless. :lol) And it won it's time slot, which is important.

Agreed. As long as the show is in the 10pm slot, we're not likely to see the sort of numbers we did last season. But as long as Scorpion wins the time slot and stays ahead of most other CBS dramas, things should be okay.
