I got new shoes tonight! My New Balance tennis shoes, that will replace the current work shoes I have that have holes in them - literally - are here! I'm very excited.

They were my last two pair, and they fix my slight feet issues (they correct the way I stand when I get tired) and I can't imagine wearing other ones. And these are special to me because they're the asexual pride colors with a biiit of the color pink Wendy Davis used in her filibuster a few years ago, so basically my shoes make multiple statements that no one would possibly assume but me.

Multi-purpose shoes! That's great!

The only thing I don't like about New Balance is that they discontinue styles too frequently. When you find a style that fits and works for you, chances are in a year or two, it will not be available anymore, and the replacement style is never quite the same. They discontinued my favorite about 4 years ago and my last pair of those is starting to fall apart. I haven't found any other style in their line that is truly the same.

Yeah I wasn't able to get the exact same as last time, but they're close and I'm sure I'll adjust to them in a day or two. I still like them way better than any other type.
