I have to admit the one with the makeup folks plastering a stick onto her shoulder has me curious. Not curious enough to watch the movie, though. If anything, that makes me want to watch it even less.

I only got about halfway through watching that even as a time lapse.

I find it interesting that the reviewer thought the show itself was predictable, but gave Tina such props for her performance. Apparently Tina found a way to breathe fresh life into the standard horror villain character.

To me horror in general is pretty predictable. Like maybe not the exact second something will happen, but you know this that and the other thing is coming.

The thing that gets me about most horror movies is that there almost always seems to be one man and one woman who survive.

Or in the case of the SAW movies, sometimes no one.

The few horror movies I've watched are usually the science fiction / horror mix - like Alien and Leviathan and things like that. They usually occur on a space ship or in an undersea station or some other isolated place with few people and little contact with the rest of the human race. One or two survivors have to get away to at least give the illusion that the rest of humanity will be warned.

Makes me really glad they didn't go with their other ending option for Alien

Aliens might not have worked as well if the lone survivor of Alien was the cat.

They would have just done the "psych they're actually alive" plotline that Star Wars franchises are ridiculously trying to pull off to this day.
