Now the question is should I keep reading the multi-chapter I'm on or should a divert for a day to read the new one?

If it helps, Warm Me Up is only about half the wordcount of a chapter of Sly Down. I really don't mind what you read first, I'm just delighted that you're reading!

I do the same thing, read reviews of people I like on other people's fics! Heidi and Laura (ScorplingInTraining) are people I do it regularly with. And of course if Roxanne is reading something I read her reviews, too.

I'm sure there are some good Scorpion stories I still haven't read, any suggestions? (Self-promotion is perfectly acceptable! ) I came to this a little late and the number of fics already in existence was quite overwhelming! I'm not a huge fan of AU and I'm not interested in death-fics, but I do like a good, canon-compliant story - the kind that could have been an episode (or, at least, some kind of extended episode.) - preferably involving all the main characters.

ScorplinginTraining is one of Scorpion's go-to authors, but one of her earlier fics is a favorite of mine - Kryptonite. It's a Walter/Paige fic from 2016 right after the Season 2 finale and it includes a pretty darn good case as well. If you haven't already read it, I highly recommend it.

I've read a lot of her work, but not this one so I'll definitely search it out. Thank you for the recommendation.

Last night I hit upon very emotional chapters of BOTH Sly Down and A Conflict of Parallels. I was a complete puddle of mush.
