It was interesting in 3.14 The Hole Truth seeing how the team worked with Paige absent. Especially Toby and Happy basically working together trying be a surrogate Paige - with Toby recognizing when Walter needed help, but Happy being the one who could speak Walter's language and get him to realize what he needed to do - and that he now has the skills to do it.

So they can get Walter to improve without Paige, and Paige is actively not doing anything to translate for him.

No, it was she doesn't EVEN make 6 figures. I really want to know what she's spending on, honestly, if she has 4 grand in her bank account now but was so at the job offer in the pilot AND she was able to afford a new car after only a few months. Like...I know raising a kid is expensive but she's definitely making enough that money shouldn't be an issue. Maybe she was just lying about what's in her savings to the bad guy, but they could probably hack that and check and she knows that.

There could be a number of things that are eating up that money. She could have built up a lot of credit card debt that she's paying off. I think we're pretty sure she bought a condo as well. Considering she probably had zip savings when she did that, she would have gotten a low down-payment mortgage, which usually means a fairly high monthly payment. She also has a fairly nice wardrobe - which makes sense, given her position, but it has probably taken a good chunk of her paycheck to build that up.

Odd as it may seem, even when you get what seems like a whopping pay raise, it doesn't take very long before you're spending it all.

It's also possible the whole story was a bunch of BS for those guys.

I see what you're saying but her wardrobe was nice in the pilot too. I found the clothing that she was wearing at the end, so her casual, hanging-out-with-my-son clothing, and that was over $600 she was wearing right there.

I think we were meant to believe she didn't have much of a wardrobe while she was waitressing though. Remember in True Colors she said something about not having a decent dress, and Walter commented in the Pilot that her shoes were cheap, although Ralph's were good quality.

My point though, is we can't really look at her clothes, realize they're top of the line, and assume that she's actually paying those prices for her every day wear. Because her outfit in the end of the pilot was just a little less expensive than my rent, but we weren't mean to believe that waitress!Paige had actually spent over $600 on it.

Oh that picture. There's an odd history with that picture.

The day they took it, Scott posted it to Instagram. Then he immediately took it down. It was no secret what ep they were filming, so we were like ????? then on the day the ep aired, Ari posted it.
