So...this isn't really OT so I figured here's the best place.

Roxanne had just sent me the SDCC poster she'd gotten signed for me, it got here today. When I unrolled it, Megan (my friend from college who lives an hour away now and was over today to go to the races with me) looked at it for about a half second then went "oh my gosh, Super Fun Guy! When does the new season start?"

I know what you mean. I have one friend at work who is a TBBT fan and almost every week he calls me to chat about the episode - but I have to keep myself from gushing too much. He's an avid fan, but definitely not fangirly.

I hope we get a good group scene in the Christmas episode. Just the group. No Tim, no Allie, no Ronnie.

How about they all decorate a tree together? We've had them opening presents - which was wonderful and I wouldn't not mind a repeat. But if the writers want to do something different, it would be nice for them all to decorate a tree - including the ornaments that Paige gave each of them.

I was going to say didn't they do that last year, but I think that was just Paige decorating in the background.

Yes. I'd like to see them all really participating and getting into it.

Toby would, of course, stab his fingers while trying to string popcorn. He would cry out, and then pause because there really is no medical term for fingertips other than - fingertips.

Happy would complain that the little toys don't do anything - and then run to her workbench. After a few minutes she would return with a little train where the wheels turn and the whistle blows while real steam comes out - plus a tiny airplane that flies around the tree, then lands on a branch.

Sly would let everyone know exactly how many - lights (subtotaled by color), needles, popcorn kernals, ornaments (subtotaled by type) - and then he would expound on the number and variety of insect vermin potentially introduced into the garage by a live Christmas Tree.

Cabe would tell stories of Christmases past - what he and his family did in the good old days.

Walter would just smile and watch how happy Paige is.

I also still have that other thing to finish, and a few Tumblr prompts. Thank GOODNESS I got my Secret Santa done.

I think one reason why it would be nice to see something like this, is that it would show that the team is still a team - and a family. It feels as if they've been so disjointed lately and that is really difficult to watch.

I had high hopes for a more scenes from the Thanksgiving dinner - but since the presence of Ronnie would have made that awkward and strained, I'm just as happy that they didn't show any more than they did.

As cliche as it is, though, one day it might be nice to have one of those Thanksgiving scenes where they go around and everyone says what they are thankful for.

I was gonna write a fic about Paige wanting them to go around and say what they're thankful for and they start out being sarcastic / generally not taking it seriously but then it takes a turn and gers really serious and emotional.

But I didn't want to do that in a Thanksgiving episode with Tim in it.
