I’m not much of a country music fan. I didn’t know who Kacey Musgraves was until I read an article about her in @entertainmentweekly . Soon after, I went to Target and saw that Golden Hour was on sale. I said “what the hell?” and bought it. I was BLOWN AWAY. That album is ****ing amazing—from start to finish. The writing, the music, everything is pristine. I instantly became a fan of hers and got her other two albums. Please don’t hate on Kacey for winning AOTY. It is beyond well deserved, and she is truly talented and stands for so much. Take a listen if you haven’t; you won’t be disappointed.

Maybe if all the people who keep asking how Kacey Musgraves won AOTY actually listened to it they’d understand

kacey musgraves is a country music artist who loudly supported gay rights back in 2013 and has continued to do so, and that alone could’ve tanked her career where it started and instead here she is, winning a ****ing grammy for an album about love i’m crying

This woman is the only reason I’m watching this year’s Grammy awards. Golden Hour blew me away. I’ve never felt so personally connected to an album before, but this was something special. Listening to this beautiful piece of work gave me the opportunity to stop and breathe and be at peace with the world and myself. I’m hoping she goes home with the album of the year award.

Kacey Musgraves - Golden Hour This album is by far my favorite music thing of 2018. It manages to be nostalgic and futuristic at once (hello, vocoder(?) in Oh What A World). Her signature wordplay permeates every song (”You can have your space *PAUSE* cowboy”? *Swoon*). As a bonus, this is one of my favorite remixes of the year. It sounds like Fleetwood Mac disco and I live for it.

blargh, não lembro qual foi a última vez que me apaixonei por um cd assim e ainda tenho os 2 outros cds dela pra ouvir

Já ouvi umas 3x e não consigo achar a melodia country As expressões maybe, o timbre dela tbm me lembra country, mas achei a melodia mesmo mais disco/dance do que country. Tô tentando lembrar se dublaram música dela em RPDR, mas acho que não.
