How about a movie where he would play a really bad guy??

Being a fan of Garrett Hedlund I had a hard time seeing him as a dark character and then I saw a movie called Death Sentence with him and

He was pretty bad as Sebastian (in Glee), so I could see him be a villainous character.

when people say they want him to play a villain I take it as an insult. I also get tired of the Flash fandom wanting him to go dark and evil. I am so getting tired of negative crap towards Grant and I'm so tired of shade towards his acting.

Why an insult? It just means he can succeed in any role he gets. He has played a 'villain' before. Have you watched him as Sebastian Smythe? So Glee insults you then?

I don't think or believe Barry could ever go dark or evil. He has seen so many close ones die and if he is still standing strong, don't see what could make Barry go dark. Unless Iris dies maybe?

We are not 'throwing shade' towards his acting.

What's wrong with having an acting role of a villainous character? I love evil Regina. I love evil Ward. I love the Joker. Lots of villains I enjoy watching do bad things.

If all Grant gets are heroic roles, that will be a slam to his acting. I want to see him do more variety.

tbh fans prefer the bad guys more than the good it just shows that his a really good actor if he can do both roles

Quite a few roles haven't seen cause am sadly just seen him on Arrow-verse
