It was a bot cooler last night, but today is thankfully we have air conditioning in the office.

My dad has to get another surgery for his hernia. Sorry I haven't been around much, family life has gotten chaotic once again.
Tomorrow there is also my mom's post surgery brain scan check-up.
I'm ridiculously anxious.

Dad had the surgery and it went well, although being the second operation in less than two months he had to spent a longer time in the hospital and now he'll have to be even more careful with taking care of himself.
My mom's brain scan seems to show a positive progress, too, although we can't speak until the neurosurgeon checks the results out.

I'm crazy tired all the time, sorry again if I haven't been online. Hopefully now that my dad is back home I can post daily again.

So glad everything went well with both your dad and mom! Fingers crossed the neurosurgeon has some good news too when he checks the results! And you must get some rest, dear! Don't worry about the board!

I went to the beach this morning, but between the scorching heat, the million children running around, and the crowd, the only way I could last a couple of hours was stay in the water.

Great you could go to the beach! I agree , water is the only way to escape from all the buzz out there
