I am a fan of Laurel. I am a fan of Felicity. (But apparently you cannot be both - according to some fans)

I am not a Laurel/Oliver or Felicity/Oliver fan. I think Oliver is a jerk. He is handsome and an entertaining "hero" for the show but I do not "ship" him with any of our girls (including Sara).

I hope the new year will show the fandom that two smart women can be friends without a man ruining the friendship. We need strong female friendships on TV.

Here's to girl power on Arrow!

I'm going to give the writers the benefit of doubt. Sure the last nine episodes both sucked and blew but there is the majority of the season left.

Felicity and Laurel should work well together. Both have brains and I am willing to bet that both will be good in the field. Felicity has more experience in the vigilante workforce while Laurel is a natural fighter.
They also have different type personalities. Laurel is a lot like Oliver. Broody and intense while Felicity is a little bit lighter and happier-go-lucky.

I honestly can't see why those won't connect and become great friends.
