I haven't watched that many sport movies, but both Moneyball and Rush impressed me for the work they did with the character material.
I should try to tempt my dad into seeing Rush - he is a big F1 fan (Ferrari support for life, though, so not sure he'll care much for Chris' character. j/k)

It's hard for me to get into sports movies, but I guess if it is a biopic i can do that.
And I'm sure your Dad will fall in love with Chris

Often sport movies are predictable or sappy.

I can try, but he will never cheat on Niki Lauda with his big rival.

So he's Lauda fan. He won't be disappointed with Daniel's performance

He's pro all things Ferrari, but yeah Lauda is truly an icon to him.
He doesn't know I like Chris but he knows of my fondness of blondes so he might expect me pulling for the "rival".

BTW, this truly is the one movie I might convince my father to watch with me - he only watches war movies, biopics, and westerns, lol.

Pray for me, that I won't let any pervy comments slip through my lips with my dad sitting right next to me.

I'm hoping my mom will appreciate those scenes, at least.

Aww, bummer. Are you travelling, or you meant moving as in moving out to another place?

How did you manage to forget that, even temporarily? HOW?

I was SO INTO and emotionally attached to the performances.

It didn't even register back to me until you mentioned holding back when you watch it with dad
