That's why it's sad that a lot of people snubbed the film because they thought the setting would bore them.

What matters is that in the end it won you over.
But I truly believe the theme of the movie being so foreign to US' interests prevented it from getting more love. I can understand it with the box office, but it's a shame that its quality didn't reach more critics, who are supposed to open to all kinds of subjects. __________________
